I have a confession… I HATE BEING SICK!
The fatigue, the chills, nausea and the nose that never stops running, not fun.
Then of course you end up missing out on things like work, games and dates. And if that’s not bad enough chances are high you’ll pass it off to someone you care about and then have to watch them suffer. Basically it’s a pain the butt.
What’s the best way to not get sick?
The best ways to never get sick are to eat a nutrient dense diet that is low inflammatory foods (SCD or Paleo), eat plenty of fermented foods for probiotics, bone broths and organ meats. Make sure to sleep 7-9hrs a night and keep stress levels low. Beyond this if you have any underlying root causes that are dragging down your immune system get them taken care of.
And if you do get sick…
Then it’s time to bring out the big guns. The first thing is to double your fermented foods and bone broth consumption. I was fresh out of broth but the whole time I was sick but I was eating large amounts of sauerkraut at each meal.

Thank you so much for this. Especially for detailing the risk of not getting the flu vaccine- now I don’t feel so guilty about not getting it !

I look very well to what I EAT SINCE THREE YEARS and I’m getting a lot better now !
but one thing I must comment, some people are really stuck into stresslifes, with adhd children, nothelping husbands, while you are as hell as sick and need to rest ??
A friend of me sits in this situation as I was before, but she feels unable the turn over the situation, and then , it’s hard to get well , very hard !
