Are you inspiring your friends and family to make different health decisions?
It’s highly likely, even if you’re not aware of it. But sometimes it’s hard if you don’t display outward signs of disease and changes. Even when it’s bad and you’re stuck in the bathroom 10 times a day you still smile. It’s the same smile you show people when your intestines could be pulsing with pain or when you’ve feeling on top of the world because of your new health.
But when someone weights 410 pounds then loses 170 pounds in 9 months, quits 3 prescription drugs and completely changes their outlook on life. Well… people can’t avoid seeing that.
For better or worse, a weight loss story is sensational, but digestive recovery is more often a private battle.
Seriously – How Did You Do It Man?
What if everywhere you went, acquaintances, friends, and family constantly bombarded you with questions and scrutinized everything you did? Annoying or exciting? Could you handle the pressure of being a success story?
The truth is that there aren’t enough of us talking. I mean publicly talking about our health, the journey and the success. Some can’t handle it, still dealing with guilt, some hate the attention and constant questions. For many reasons, 90% of us never speak out. And yet we are all clamoring for you and your story.
We need you to tell it. We want to give you praise.
You’re worth it. Why? Because you did what 95% of people wouldn’t, you beat the odds.
But I’m Not 100% Healthy!
We never asked you to be.
Let that sink in for a minute. It’s important. It doesn’t matter if you’re 100% healthy yet.
In fact, the farther you get into this you’ll realize that 100% healthy is a fantasy… perfection is only found in the current here and now…. in the moment.
Stand in your power, be proud of your decisions, whether its step 1 in your journey or step 1000, it’s still perfect my friend. Keep stepping.
