Choosing the Easiest Path (Podcast 22)

by Jordan Reasoner

There are two kinds of people in this world.

Those who let their health make decisions for them.

And those who don’t.

The ones who lost control never wanted it that way.

No one starts out ‘giving away’ decisions to their health. But when symptoms take over they learn how to avoid doing things. They learn how to blame their stomach, their digestion, the exhaustion, the lack of bathrooms and anything else that can suffice to make it easy.

But what about those who don’t?

Or won’t.

We’ve all been there. Feeling like crap and curled up in a ball. And some days we feel like making excuses. And they roll off the tongue so easy, but we stop instead – and do what it takes to make our own decision.

Controlling Our Health is Inside All of Us

To do what it takes.

… Or completely give up on life.

When you wake up tomorrow morning, you get to decide who’s in charge of your health. You get to make choices about what food goes in your mouth and whether or not you’re going to have control over how you feel.

Will you be in control? Or will your health keep deciding for you?

One day, I was fed up riding in the backseat through life…

I wanted to drive.

And as you continue to take control of your body, you can always bail…

And make excuses.

You can blame the unfair card you were dealt…

Or not.

You have the choice, just like you have the choice to eat this or eat that.

You decide…

Hi Rosemary,

If you can’t see the little “Play” button at the bottom of the posts – then look for the text at the bottom that says, “- If you can’t see the audio player below, download the MP3 here.”

Simply hover your mouse of the hyperlink and “right-click” and “save-as” to download the file and listen.

Hope that helps,

Jordan
